I am honored to be able to serve as your new president for the next two years. As you already know, we have a wonderful board

in place and I am very excited and looking forward to working closely with the Board in the coming year.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Vinman (aka Vinny Klump) for his service as past president. We appreciate your hard work!

For those of you who don’t know me, I have worked as the manager of Histology, Cytology and Pathology at Bridgeport Hospital for the past five years.

 
I am already beginning to think about our Spring meeting (date

TBA) but if anyone has any ideas for venues or topics that they would be interested in, please contact me or one of the members of the Board. 

It is 2013, so please remember to renew your membership. One of my first goals as your new president is to increase membership. 

I also wanted to remind everyone that the National meeting in 2013 is in Providence, RI. As our neighbor, this is a great opportunity to get involved with this meeting as a volunteer, attendee or speaker.
