Dear CSH members;

Greeting and salutations!  The New Year is upon us and winter and the holiday seasons are well under way. With the New Year brings annual CSH membership renewal;  please be prompt in renewing your membership.

We are working on a new web site and it should be up and running by 1/1/2012 at the new web address connhisto.org. The Paraffin Press will be coming out in January 2012.  Anyone interested in helping Amos with the Paraffin Press or has an article to publish feel free to contact me.

Due to the rising mailing cost the Paraffin Press will only be available in PDF format via e-mail, so please include an accurate e-mail address when renewing your membership. If anyone truly needs hard copies please contact Cindy DeRiso and I will see that you get it.

There have been abundant local meetings in our area.   I recently went to the RISH fall meeting and it was a blast! The Region I meeting in Maine was also very good. Check out the NSH web site for local meetings at www.nsh.org. The CSH spring meeting is @ Yale on 3/31/12 see meeting info page.  We plan on having at least two speakers and an opportunity to receive at least two CEU's. The meeting is free of charge to members in good standing.

 I was recently voted President of Region I Inc., (actually we drew straws and I lost lol!). All kidding aside it is a great opportunity for CSH to be represented in the region.

In conclusion I would like to remind you to be prompt in renewing your membership, include your current e-mail address.   Feel free to contribute anything you want to the Paraffin Press. You can also follow me on Twitter @vklumpjr for interesting technical information; and as always anybody interested in learning IHC or ISH procedures please feel free to visit my lab.

Thanks,

Vinman vincent.klump@yale.edu
